The members of Alpha Phi Gamma a.k.a. “The Mokers” extend out a welcome to you. CMU can be an excellent school and Fayette an extraordinary town, but it all depends on what you make of it. There are some that might want to hang around alone in the dorms and whittle away through College never getting a chance to experience anything exciting, except for the main entrée in the Dining Hall. Then there are others who want to get out, meet people, join organizations and just have a good time. We welcome both types of students to come and get a chance to know The Mokers.
Here’s a little more information about The Mokers. We were first established on October 14, 1945 and just recently celebrated our 60th Anniversary at Homecoming 2005. We are actively involved with many philanthropic events such as Headstart Christmas, Headstart Easter Egg hunt, Red Cross blood drive, kiddie football, just to name a few.
We also have social events throughout the school year as well. We participate in most intramural activities. We do our best during Homecoming and Greek Week. We have a Christmas Dinner, Spring Formal, Summer Float Trip, Sweetheart Dance, Moker Softball, and a few other events that we probably should not mention.
If you have any questions, please contact Ross Dobson at 660-537-3333 or contact Brecht Madalijns at 660-621-1014.
Sincerely,
The Men of Alpha Phi Gamma (The Mokers)
